the paint and ruin the finish.

The opposite happens - it preserves the paintwork.
3.Question How often should I wax my
car

You should Wax you car, including the metal trim and wheels, whenever water
sits on the surface in large patches. It should form into beads or droplets
if there is a coat of protective wax present.
Always wash and dry your car thoroughly before waxing!
4.Question
When I wash my car there are still lots of black spots on the paint!. What
are they?

These are Tar Spots usually picked up during the summer months when the roads
are hot from the sun. Remove the spots with a tar remover or white spirit.
Rinse the tar remover off immediately and remember to re-wax these areas even
if the rest of the vehicle does not need waxing.
